Weekly Selections
250s: Six player team
500s/Masters: Eight player team

Lineup Makeup
Six Players/One Captain: Only three players can be seeded, the other three must be non-seeds.
Eight Players/One Captain: Only four players can be seeded, the other four must be non-seeds.
*With this format, that means that multiple teams may have several of the same players. Your CAPTAIN can be any player on your team.

Scoring
Match Wins: 20 points
Straight Set Match Wins: 30 points
Tournament Win: 100 points
Tournament Finals Appearance: 40 points
*All non-seeded players earn 2x the points
*Your CAPTAIN each week will earn double points. If it's a non-seeded player, that means you can earn 4x the points.

1st Match Loss: -15 pts
Match Loss: -10 pts
*All seeded players earn 2x the points for losses

Depends on how many people actually enter. That will be posted after entries are received for Atlanta. Remember, this is a cumulative contest - you gain points each week for each tournament for a final total after Winston-Salem. That is when the winner will be determined.

Another one

Going to a nice holiday with wife tonight for a week and wont log in from my notebook. I dont have a nice phone (threw 1 blackberry and 1 LG android to the wall on angry moments so decided to use 15 year-old phones from now on). I will have an hour to hour and a half time period on my own each day while wifey enjoys her coffee and cake/cookies service in the restaurant around 5 P.M. and I will work out. If I dare to log in from hotel computer room I will get busted 100% by degen-police who happens to my wife. Then I will hear 1 hour of torturous speech on how I changed since we marry + will have to deal with an upset face and mood for at least 12 hours + will have to hear on how degen I am to log on to bet in a holiday in 2014 for my entire life whenever we have a fight for whatever the subject is.

So I wont be able to participate in Atlanta 250 and wont be able send my 2 points daily but want to continue next Monday. Can we work this out?

I'm sure you will be okay giving the two points each day whenever you can resume your posting. Winston-Salem ends somewhere around August 23rd, so you'll have plenty of days to give points.

FYI, according to the Order of Play for Monday it is mostly Qualifying still, but the 1st MAIN DRAW match is set to begin at 4pm ET. So that is when I must have your entry for the Atlanta Tournament for you to be eligible this week.

8 out of 10 is not so bad statistacally speaking...there will always be some who miss out.

Anyway, how will this "leave it open" work? we will count Atlanta or not?

Think main problem was that qualifying was so close to the start of the 1st round making almost half the draw uncertain so most ppl couldnt be bothered doing it last minute.

I know the team I PMed you contained a qualifying spot rather then a players name due to the fact I wouldnt have been able to get an entry in otherwise. =.="

Also my team would be different if I saw the final draw but had to send in what I could to be eligible to play the contest.

many of the smaller tournaments do this. The main draw starts before qualifying ends. Qualifying wasn't even over at 4 PM.

It makes it impossible to bet on because usually you want to know the field before betting on a tournament winner and with these they don't let you do that.

Also makes bracket contests impossible. Means you're straight guessing on who wins qualifying, you don't even know who's playing.

My suggestion would be to count points for 3 best tourn's from the 4 available. Means that if someone was not able to post the picks can still participate in other 3 tourns and still be in a winnable position. Also why not include US Open as the grand finale and as a must tourn. with double points for each category and maybe a team of 10 can be considered. Two top seeds (1.-8.), two other seeds and 4 unseeded.

I will have the entries posted later today. As for qualifying, there's not much you can do about it. It's scheduled when it's scheduled. I don't think it's a big deal like said above, that's probably not a problem outside of this tournament and maybe Winston-Salem. The other tourneys in the series are big business, so qualifying is probably mostly complete by the main draw. I'll monitor. If we need to switch the deadline to enter each week, we will.
