The Federer v Raonic Match, AND WIND
    It's fairly windy out there.

Will it somewhat neutralise Raonic's serve?

    Who will it favour?

    Thoughts?

AS the players on this site well know, WIND is the number one factor in conditions that is the hardest to play in for tennis...

This will def NOT favor Raonic. BUT he is a top world professional & it wouldn't surprise me to see him pick his game up in spite of the windy conditions..

The one thing that concerns me is that Milos has a relatively high ball toss from what I can remember. He is a tall dude, so he needs to send the ball up pretty high on the toss. Not like Berdych high, but he does toss it high and THAT can be the issue with the ball moving slightly and messing up his timing just slightly. Fed has a much lower toss, with the no leg sliding to serve, so he is much more grounded and stable. I feel like Milos will be reaching for the tops of the skyscrapers to get his toss. If it is moving around a bit, it could cause trouble.

Also have to remember Fed chips that backhand return pretty well against the big servers. He has done it time in and time out... ONCE the rallies start, adv Fed on most of them for sure... Right??? Raonic is crap on returns and will probably have a hard time getting break points from Federer. Roger has also been serving great, and if HIS confidence is sky high today, Milos is in serious trouble..

        Just my thoughts...

Actually it may not bother Giraffe that much (this is a complete unknown to me and could swing either way as far as he himself is concerned), but Federer is one of the greatest GOAT-wind players of all time.

Disregarding the above and the potential insanity of Federror's returns at Wimbledon, I give Giraffe a fair chance today and the odds seem about right.

Frankenstein's 200 mph serves cut through the wind like hot butter.

Usually I don't favour the big guys moving around on surface this slippery but Milos does have a damn huge foundation (legs) to help him push off and keep him upright.
