Still, Gulbis actually does have a great game so it will be mostly between his ears. If he does not self-combust, that one can go to five sets. I'm not sure that beating Federer at this stage of his career on this surface qualifies as making a name for himself. Maybe on the low expectation scale it would because people expected him to just quit or something when he blew the 2-1 lead.
