And to ANSWER your question (by your comment I can see you don't really play tennis at any higher level, just an observation based on your comments), a LOT of power and torque is generated by the abdominal muscles. You do NOT always have to be skinny and super thin to be able to run around a tennis court for short bursts of speed and to do the broken up type of running we do during points...

I am willing to bet a large amount, that Taylor's ab core is strong as HELL!!! Also, a LOT of running the way we do it in tennis, is from the legs, not the midsection. The legs are a HUGE factor in moving quickly to balls and being able to sustain rallies. Taylor also prob has really really strong legs.. It is usually by default that most tennis players are thin and in GREAT shape. But it doesn't always mean this is the ONLY way you can run balls down, and stay in rallies, even at a much higher level...
