So just the quick glance at the French Open markets. One match stood out and I've given it a lot of thought. Then some more. Now I've gone ahead and placed it. Decided to play it hard.

Stake = 7.5 units.

Wawa was often underrated. Now that he's won a Grand Slam and the recent Madrid Masters, he's overrated for sure. I've seen enough of both players to know I'm happy with my stakes.

Given my bets size I really hope the odds don't drift out. I've got a hunch they'll actually come in a little which is why I pounced.

the way wawrinka has been playing, I would suggest the odds to be around 3.5....good luck

My second Large "Must Play" of the French Open.

I've been patiently waiting for the moment to oppose Gulbis and have anticipated this match for a couple days now. Stepanek is precisely the man I want for the job, and I was excited to see the draw bring these two guys together. The veteran certainly has the tools. Attitude, persistence, cleverness, adaptability and most importantly, the mental prowess on the big stage (think Davis Cup).

Gulbis' recent form and dominant record against him only improves the odds I'm getting. The two factors don't bother me much in this matchup (for various reasons). Either does Stepanek's relatively poor record on clay. I know this will be closely contested and there is significant value here.

It would certainly be a sweet victory. Just be careful with your staking. I'm not an idiot and I can afford to bet big (considering the odds) here. First and foremost it's a value bet.

I like the play. Of course it could lose but given Gulbis's mental midget when playing in grand slams, it's a 65/35 for Gulbis and not more, so yes good value on Stepanek.
