i dnt know american odds but he was round 1.65 on my books and that isnt insane at all. thats just slight favourite which is fair.

buchanan always stays in matches just with his serve alone. his match against bolt a month ago was a great example. Completely got dominated the whole games bt hung in there with just his serve and managed to take it to 3 sets.

kravchuk had more aces than him and shouldve won bt choked as he does from time to time. also Zhyrmont is one of the worse returners i hav seen and it was only 10 aces which is a decent amount bt nothing special on hard court

the dudes hardly played a game in 2 years. he was good prior to that and did well in this tourney so far hence the odds.

surprised how badly he lost tho considering he looked great prior to like with like over a dozen aces each game and returning ok.

I would go with Buchanan usually but Basilashvili has been playing great all tourney. However, the odds @2.5 for Buchanan seems a little off considering it is a final. Basilashvili should be only a slight fav with form so the value is on Buchanan here. My book Basilashvili is only @1.5 which I wouldn't play as I don't usually play anything under like 1.6 at least and definitely not in a final.

Would probably bet on the over 22.5 as finals can go 3 sets quite often and as mentioned earlier, Buchanan isn't the easiest to break when his serve is on. Wouldn't touch the ML pre-game but may put a bet on whoever loses the 1st set for the value.
