I believe it's between 70-80% depending on the player. Very rough estimate

I had Kohl ML, it's very difficult to say whether it was a good or a bad bet but here was what my train of thought said.

Decent against Gulbis or not, Jano is on a big losing streak. Moreover, his match against the Latvian was on one of the covert courts in Madrid and I'm pretty sure the surface there was fast (I think it was the same court where Kubot managed to win 2 matches with his serve-and-volley game).

I watched Kohl vs Istomin and he was good. A tough close loss. By the way, I like Istomin, he has a really solid basis, good movement, he is tall, very solid two-handed backhand. I think he definitely has the skills to be a top... let's say top 30 player, maybe even top 20. Kohl had also a close match versus Tsonga, despite Tsonga's shitty form, it's still something.

Most important is that unlike Madrid, this was a match on slow clay. Kohl is definitely the more skilled of the two and should have advantage in long rallies. Not that this is a very easy match for him but I still thing advantage was to be his.

I'm not saying at all that Kohl was a good play. It's really stupid to show off once you have predicted a match correctly, just wanted to share my thoughts - although with a delay.

By the way, I read that Kohl has had some personal problems recently and also problems with the German tennis federation.
