he's been serving well, and he looks confident. Maybe it has something to do with looking like a hobo with beard of his. I think he has a decent shot vs ferrer tomorrow. Small play today.

I'd be more worried about him winning rallies. He will have to work harder than he has all week just in effort in the 1st set. I think Ferrer 2-1, but he's certainly beatable

I was thinking the same but at the odds, I'll give it a shot.

Honestly, I think Gulbis will win pretty easily. Gulbis to win 2-0 is tempting.

Ferrer is gonna be doing all the running, trust me.

I don't think so Goat. Ferrer will have gulbis on his heals, IF gulbis can hit that ball from line to line regularly, he will end the points fairly quickly. He can't get in rally's with ferrer, I don't believe I've really seen anybody beat ferrer in the endurance department,

Not really a test of endurance in a best of 3 match. It's not a major. Ferrer is gonna be doing the running. Watch. This is not Ferrer's type of clay court where he dictates points. If he's gonna win, it's gonna be Gulbis that hands it to him with unforced errors.

Every tennis match is a battle of endurance against Ferrer. Look at his 1st match this week, three hours on-court.

Unless he is off his game, you have to be mentally prepped to battle in long rallies all match. That's the edge Ferrer usually has is his work rate. Many opponents are to lazy to engage or wear down and try to end points early, leading to errors.

Ferrer was great against Nadal here last year. Also dominated Haas game, I had over and I was lucky it went to 3 sets.

Gulbis is not the type of guy to 100% trust to sweep someone like Ferrer but lets see what happens

same old gulbis. breaks ferrer 2nd set gets broken right back. every error he looks at the umpire like a retard.
