I wouldn't say so. He is a slight favorite, but it is very very difficult to pick a winner here imho, and that is why the odds are so close. Granollers had a worst start of the season in years. It surprised me how poor was he on those clay tournaments in South America. Then he played little bit on hard courts in USA, then decided to take a little break to recharge hi batteries... He is all over the place at the moment. Only two valid reasons for taking him, are, that Ramos haven't been that great either + Granollers has a pretty nice record against lefties (21-9)...
But with gun, pointing to my head, I would still go with Ramos. Guy simply decided that he will not go to USA and play those tournaments on hard courts, in that kind of form, and probably lose in first rounds. He rather played some challengers on clay in South america. He is obviously in better competitive rhythm at the moment and that is why I would pick him, if I would have to. But I am not crazy to risk any money on this match.. I think best decision is to just skipp it.Comment -
