Another match that should be at 50/50 odds, but Ajla is somehow +135. Lepchenko is a big hitter, but she is erratic like hell and not mentally strong. Ajla still has points to defend in Miami (4th round last year). Not a big bet (if I will bet all), but I am liking Ajla in this spot, mainly as a fade of Lepchenko.
PS In the 2nd round, Lepchenko beat JJ but Alja came back to eliminate Muguruza. I am not sure what was the bigger upset of those two: I think Mugs is at least as good as JJ right now.
