If you ask any book, they'll tell you closing odds are sharper than openers.

That doesn't mean that if the line moves one way then it's an automatic winner, of course. Not even close.

Thx Matt. You kept me off the fed train. I had the match read pretty well, I just didn't match my conclusion to a bet. Kenz not joker in 2 was what I should of bet given my thoughts on the match.

I have learned a lot from you and Kenz over this week and a half. Many thanks!! Keep on killing it dude!!!

You are awesome at these late stages in a tourney!!!

No prob, near the match time I figured the total would go over. Fed played great, there's only 2 guys really IMO better than he is right now.... Nadal/Djoker. Not bad for a guy turning 33 soon

"Fans Can Count on Me"... Brought me in tears being a Federer fan

Other than that, I thought stealing a set is not difficult with his style and form (historically he stole a set verrryyyy often). Wish I pounded it. Will be back to heavy betting with Miami

what he said...IMO sbr's tennis-forum top-tier treasures are Kenz, Matt1216, Hardcoar, EaglesPhan36, beefcake, SuicideKings, tipsadontlikehim and MagicDiceFlow...each definitely have their own "style" and "modus operandi"...wouldn't think about formulating my own day's bets without checking to see if there's anything new from any of these guys...

this sub-forum has the best "esprit de corp" in the sense of an underlying helpful attitude...the MMA-subforum, by contrast, is equally informative but unnecessarily mean-spirited...and apart from a few good NHL and MLB threads, the WhitebreadTeamSports forums seem to have an average poster age of 17...here we call the players we bet on useless sacks of monkey shit...in other forums the posters call each other that and worse all the time, with pages and pages of "post your ticket you lying air-betting rooster-licker" etc...here, one of the good new threads by Marillion proudly puts "I bet air" in its title...cuz it's not dick-waggin' over bet-sizes that's important, it's the betting itself, and the logic behind it that matters...the rest is bullshit, and apart from our harmless token-troll crappypicks this is one forum where it's generally treated as such

...anyhow, keep up the good work gentlemen...mere mortals like sluggy, poet, justforcash, bumdeal, metaphor, and myself and others appreciate the ideas and the generally-intelligent/generally-civil haggling over them
