WTA is **** joke. I rarely bet womens tennis but today I did with a fairly large wager on Petra Kvitova -3.5 games and how did it end up? Well, she led 6-1, 4-2 and had a two break points (15-40) for 5-2 - didn't convert. Then lost 4 straight games and the set, was down 2-4 in the third but came back to serve for the match 5-4. Broken to love. Had 4*-2 in the tiebreak and didn't win a point after. Also Kvitova was the defending champion and had a 5-1 record against Suarez-Navarro.

Sorry for the outburst, all I'm saying it seems every match in WTA not involving Serena is a coinflip. Others are just so mentally weak and inconsistent Should just stay away from it or only take dogs as there is genuinely a 50/50 chance to hit..

Not even close to true lmfao. You bet on Kvitova you get what you deserve just like I did today. Anything she does should never ever be shocking especially when she is so low in confidence.

Okey I wasn't serious on the last line but I think if you are the type of guy who likes to bet under dogs, then WTA would be more profitable.

You can't blind click underdogs and come out with profit which is what it seems like you're implying. There are tendencies, trends and stats just like the mens game. Just train yourself to never expect women to hold and you'll be fine during some of these sweats win or lose lol

Yeah I take it as a lesson learned. Just got little frustrated, had a very good streak going on and decided to try WTA which I don't normally bet.

Ive given up on WTA as well Metaphor........I'm not mentally strong enough to watch or check out the results after the match.

Nothing you or I or anyone could do about Kvitova... it just happened. When the player you bet on is up 1 set, 4-2 and 15-40 on their opponents serve you're looking quite damn golden. Is what it is. More often than not in that spot you'll come out a winner women's or men's tennis.

See the WTA game is a little less predictable because they don't hold the way men do on serve. The truth in that leads me to believe there is more value in betting the womens game. Not in just dogs though, all over! For example today with an Alize Cornet (a lot of sharps hit this hard not just Matt and I - this was a very juicy line) or a Anika Beck the past few days before Woz finally shut her down.

Tennis is a confidence game and even moreso when it comes to the fragile minds of women, that's why I also believe its tough to bet if you aren't paying attention to matches and the kind of form/confidence players are playing with at the current moment. Coming in cold and throwing some coin down is asking for disaster.

Oh and the last thing I'll add, you should avoid parlays in general, I like to keep mine small if I do them but NEVER EVER EVER EVER pair 2 women together in a parlay, just don't do it!

Like patty said if you scoreboard watch during a WTA match you bet on your heart will twist and turn about 40 different ways. It's not for the mentally weak, it can definitely tilt you. I'm sure a few people who laid coin on Kvitova today were tilted so hard by it they are chasing in one of these afternoon night matches. That's where it can get dangerous for your bankroll. Once the match is over, win or lose, review your bet and then be done with it, move on to a new bet, a new day.
