It was a no win situation for everyone except those who had money on Nadal. He was not going to win and he was not going to give the fans their moneys worth or give Wawa the satisfaction of beating a real opponent (or at least an opponent that was not crippled due to an injury). Felt bad for everyone, but most of all the guys who lost money on Rafa. For all the reasons stated above I think Rafa should have retired once he knew he could not win because of his injury.
