Theres a reason for the plus odds when he's own Berdych. Berdych will destroy him this tournament. Ferrer isn't playing Mayer here lol.

Tipsy, I understand what your saying here. No disrespect, I wasn't trying to be a knob above. I just see this as a clear setup. Ferrer has been playing a ton of tennis lately. Berdych, he looks like a new re-vamped Berdych. The guy is hitting shots that I havnt seen him hit befor. I know ferrer has won his last / matches. Remember, why the heck is he not the favorite because of his head to head ??? I really think this is due to Berdych new approach.

Yes, I know he hasnt had a Challenge yet but I think the fact that he hasn't been on court nearly as long as ferrer, it will be off Berdych in the end

Watch him again Tipsy, he was destroying Anderson's first serve last night. Ferrers is much slower. One thing Berdych had problems with last year was gauging the first serve and laterall movement. Both have improved.

I wouldn't take a ton from Berdych against Anderson. Anderson played well early, but the fatigue of the five setter against ERV clearly set in after that. I watched two Berdych matches this tourney and see nothing new in his game. Solid, but not spectacular.

Watched three Ferrer matches and he just does what he does. Grind & advance. Anyone who thinks on-court time matters with Ferrer is certifiably insane. Fittest dude on tour still. I would actually prefer someone who has been tested and responded.

Should be a good match. Still sorting out a play. This is that time in Slams where I think often people go for tougher plays like picking sides in even match-ups than looking at easier options.
