Everyone knows about Na's ability to choke up circumstances in matches and I am anticipating this in a match where she is hitting a lot of balls to win points. Beck gets balls back the normal WTA player would possibly get back but not with much length.
Beck is a moonballer but she throws this in with a lot of high percentage and aggressive but with control tennis. Na struggled with closing off Niculescu today and it does tend to be a common theme with her that in the latter stages f competitions she struggles to finish off consistent little grinders. Whenever she's level in the scoreboard, she's loose and plays flowing tennis dragging opponents wide and opening out the court to hit winners but when she is ahead, she sprays really (Remarkable) unforced errors on shots which are basic for her.
Beck has the style to annoy her and will be without any expectation to even get a set here.
I believe one of two scenario's will either play out in this one.
Beck capitalises on flakey moments from Na and manages to squeeze herself into a winning position where she is leading 1 set up, with the break before getsting tight and allowing Na back in. They play out a three setter, with breaks all over the place and Na eventually getting the second. Either one screws up their opportunity at serving for the match and the other wins.
Both are terrible at closing out matches, Beck more so against the star-names with big sponsors and calibre. Na against anybody that can stay moderately consistent with an okay length from the back of the court, but quite often so when the millions from China tune-in to watch her on TV in her home events.
