#1506No, Djokovic. Sugita bet was solid in my opinion. He was most likely actually injured somehow or otherwise impaired.Comment -

#1507Djoker 1.55 was a gift IMO. I know this is after the fact but Joker is light years better than this fool Nadal on hardcourts. Nadal is #1 because he owns the clay. Realistically nadal is number 4 at best on hardcourts. Djoker/Murray/Delpotro all ahead of Him IMOOriginally posted by HardcoarNo, Djokovic. Sugita bet was solid in my opinion. #1511You underestimate him I believe, but it's an undisputed fact Djokovic is, in general, the better hard-courter indeed. This was not the case for quite some time this summer however.Originally posted by matt1216Djoker 1.55 was a gift IMO. #1513Ebbs and flow of the tennis life. Nadal was deadly on the US hardcourt circuit. I picked up two units on his win in the US Open final, although that one was pretty close. But already in Asia he did not play as well. It is impossible to play at this level for more than a couple of months. Djokovic still has the Davis Cup final coming up (tempting to put a unit there even at -300 odds, but I am not sure what Tipsarevic status is). Lots of tennis he has played this year and I would not be surprised if Novak has a letdown in Australia.Originally posted by HardcoarYou underestimate him I believe, but it's an undisputed fact Djokovic is, in general, the better hard-courter indeed. #1515You know as well as I do that Djokovic has an immense amount of pressure to be the best. He just has the skill set and the perfect frame to be the best. You also have to be smart. I bet djoker has an IQ higher than most think. Probably close to 160Originally posted by HardcoarYou underestimate him I believe, but it's an undisputed fact Djokovic is, in general, the better hard-courter indeed. #1517I do not know about 160, probably closer to 120-130. 160 is an established theoretical physicist range. But it is true that good tennis players have a much higher than average IQ: the game is not only about making shots. Just like footbal QBs have an average IQ of 115 or so.Originally posted by matt1216You know as well as I do that Djokovic has an immense amount of pressure to be the best. #1518The ungodly amount of tennis he has playing is bound to catch up to Djokovic. Let's see how he looks in the early rounds. By letdown, I mean losing in the semis or final to Murray or Nadal, LOL.Originally posted by MiDNiTeaus open is jokers best slam he's always played his best there imoComment -

#1519Hes gonna have about 6 weeks off. He should be fine. Murray won't make it far. It will take him awhile to adjust after the surgery. #1521I definitely agree. Everything of what you just said can be applied equally to Nadal, in my opinion.Originally posted by matt1216You know as well as I do that Djokovic has an immense amount of pressure to be the best. Regardless, your post in no way refutes mine, as far as I can tell, so I can only say we seemingly think alike.Comment -

#1522Intelligence does not measure knowledge, although there is an abundantly clear correlation between the two. That is an absolutely worthless argument, to be honest. Correlation does not equal causation. What stops someone with 200 IQ from playing tennis, just to make my point glaringly clear?Originally posted by frugalgamblerI do not know about 160, probably closer to 120-130. 160 is an established theoretical physicist range. I can almost assure you (in the sense of an extremely confident guess) that Djokovic and Nadal are both well above 130, and in my opinion they are both likely to be even higher.Comment -

#1523Dumb tennis players?? I can't think of any past or present that were outright stupid. Some did stupid things but if I had all that cash..well it wouldn't be pretty. I guess Agassi was doing the crack. Can't believe he could play so well on that stuffOriginally posted by HardcoarIntelligence does not measure knowledge, although there is an abundantly clear correlation between the two. #1524You can have a very high IQ and still be an idiot. Case in point -- Garry Kasparov. Anyway, Novak is a very smart player and a nice guy and I am happy that he won today. Plus I picked up 1.5 units on his win, LOL.Comment -

#1538Can someone who bets on this shit have a high IQ? Or do they have to be an idiot with a high IQ to betting on this shit? On the other hand, there are lots of idiots with high IQs who would not be idiotic enough to bet on this shit. Just as there are lots of idiots with low IQs who are smart enough to avoid gambling against idiots who have higher IQs than them. Does this make sense, or am I being idiotic?Comment -
