I am making a thread which got it's basis off of another thread in the MLB forum. Let's get some ideas going about who we think could make some noise as underdogs. There are good resources for seeing recent form of a player, matchstat, atp and wta websites, but nothing beats actually watching their recent performance. So if you've been watches the matches and have a gut feeling that a dog could get an upset, please explain why!

Please in your responses use full names, and maybe post opening lines and the line your betting on at the moment, as the "dogs" and "Favorites" can sometimes change.

I personally am really looking to hit my first 3.00+ match! Upset that I haven't yet! So let's all work together to achieve that!

First Ideas For Saturday, Oct 18 2013

I watched Pavylunchenkova stick a rod up Hantuchova, so I am going to take her at 2.44, she's serving well, and moving vertically into the court well. Simona Halep has beaten a couple of players whom basically beat themselves. Their matchstats prove that.

Pavyluchenkova: .25 units at 2.44

-I would like to know your opinions on this: Gulbis over Ferrer.

- I would also like to know your opinions on Haase over Tsonga.

Nailed it. Ferrer took him (gulbis) in the last two sets. He's a hard worker, he's grown on me. And yes he was the UNDER-DOG, but not rightly so!

So I have been watching both the Ferrer and Dmitrov matches, and I've got to say that I am not very impressed with Ferrer's play, yeah, he got past by Gulbis, but barely, and Gulbis is a hot kettle tempered guy. Here's what I observed specifically, Ferrer having difficulty getting break point conversions, and Dmitrov held quite a few games at love.

I think Dmitrov could give Ferrer a run for his money.
