I know some of you don't bother looking at the weather, so I'll All Roker your ass. Typhoon in the area, heavy rain Monday & Tuesday. If the match is not on the Stadium Court which does have a retractable roof, there's not a great chance it will get played so adjust accordingly.

Sometimes Shanghai shifts outer court matches to indoors - I don't mean closing a retractable roof, I mean going to fully indoors courts. Worth checking your book's rules for this situation, as some will void (although a lot won't notice).

How is it possible that they are playing when it is raining?

Did they move to another part of Shanghai where they are playing indoors?

I believe they moved these first matches to some of the small indoor courts that are part of the large complex in Shanghai. Court A & Court C.
