This is crazy... Aza price reached 1,67 (-150) in betfair. Clearly somebody knows something

I have no clue. I do know she's played the most out of any female singles player. 8+ hours. Maybe she's battling something?

None of the players appear to be injured. Pennetta looks god early on but so does Azarenka (apart from her attire, she looks like a 70-year old babushka from a Belorussian village).

Another lesson in line movement meaning zilch. Somestimes it might just be a lot of people dropping coin on a big price. Happens quite a bit with how lopsided most of the tennis lines are set nowadays. "Value" hunters.

Was a rogue bot that even caused the books to move lines all over the place. So funny but feel sorry for some poor buger.

even at +270, converting that into percentage .. pennetta is still a huge underdog.. you guys were talking as if the line moved from her being a big underdog to become the favorite.

It moved from 1.25 to 1.75, that's huge. Took about $1.2m to move it that much and the bookies all followed.

So we learned that money isn't correct either.

It was a mis-firing bot. People have bots programmed for Belfair and someone's had a bad day! Was so funny to see it happen and then see the books move, then money piled back on back down to 1.33ish. Some people made a lot of money today both from the bot and the books who stupidly followed. Still wont be enough for the books to stop following betfair rather than their own compilers!

Well if all of this is true, then this should be even more of a lesson to the people who freak on any sort of line movement in tennis. Don't you believe it.

Exactly. I see similar situations probably once a month but not to this extent. Makes me wonder why people still use bots or have $1m+ in an account.

Players took lot of games from Azerenka this tourney, she cannot lay this way against Serena

Although Azzy raises her lay vs Serena for some reason

Wise guys saw value but they where still a decent dog to win.
