Only because she had psyched out her countrywoman before the match. Still, if she holds serve she wins: it's that simple. I'm don't know what Halep's record is against big servers (there are not many in the WTA) but I'm sure she will be challenged.

They've dropped a bit, but nothing crazy at all. From about @ 2.2 to @ 2.05.

I know what the odds are with Pinnacle. You would do well not to overreact to initial line movements by the way. Think of them mainly as market corrections of bookmaker errors.

I like Kvitova in this spot. Halep's had an incredible run on hardcourts this season and she is most definitely the steadier. However, her style of play suits Kvitova. I noticed on that last set against Wozniacki, Halep couldnt hit with any pace and started returning very weak shots. Wozniacki doesnt have the power of Kvitova and couldnt finish off the points. Kvitova will develop more confidence as the match progresses when she pounds Halep's second serves.

Thanks Heineken. I just love the sport in general and dont mind putting in the hours of watching players play. It can sometimes pay off if I can find a weakness in a player's last match which I did see in Halep's play towards that last set last night against Woz.
