I didn't see any win markets at 5 Dimes (I checked yesterday before the tournament and again today).

Smart move for the both players. The only reason Berdych played here last year was to gain confidence after a horrible run of form. It's a home tourney for Isner, but he has played here before and needs to rest up for the Open. No sense in wearing yourself down more just to defend a measly 250 points.
It sucks for degenerates, because now we can't fade them and rake in a nice payday when they tank. At the same time, though, I can appreciate that they're giving a couple of "lucky loser" scrubs a chance to make some money and win a match or two at an ATP tour level event.Comment -
