Serena is a completely different level all together and more so on her current form,even after bouchard had won the first set the market for her total games won after winning 6 was just 11.5 O/U..even the books do not under estimate serena and it was only a matter of getting on her game,she literally stream rolled bouchard after that,and mind you eugine is a talented young girl, who will come up eventually but serena is at her zenith..Na Li well hell no..lol

Another aspect where Serena holds the major advantage IMHO is her serve,she can give a few cheap points away and come back with two good serves,NA LI will always be a suspect as far as her serve goes,and what does not go in LA NI's favor is the way lauren has taken the pressure,she is calm collected and is just doing the basics right,as long as she does it for 2 more games,i CASH my bet..what else do i need..ol

You are right she indeed has loads of points to defend here but at the same time she can be caught off guard and if her serve eludes her in the final set,who knows,lauren might end up winning this outright !

Lauren completely lost confidence from the start of the 2nd set and I maintain what i said,LI NA is no serena williams but lauren made her look just that. I believe the problem with young and upcoming players such as Bouchard and Lauren is the firstly the maturity that would only come with time,At 19 i wanted to conquer the world myself,but now at 28,i am conquering the demons inside me.Lol

The Problem with these young players is not talent,we all know that it is there,but it is the weight of expectations that they start having from themselves after winning the 1st set against top players. They come prepared in to these matches knowing that they are not expected to perform miracles or win so they are prepared to just swing and not be bothered as they were not expecting much anyway,however after winning the first set,they start to believe that they can and then let the pressure get onto them. Handling this is not so tough.It is all about the mental level. Hey I can beat Serena,i just won the first set,but serena will come back in the 2nd so how will i tackle that? Pretty simple advice to that would be,repeat what you did in the first set,knowing u did not have a chance you smashed balls to the corners served well because you had nothing to loss...when the fear of loss is not there,even death is welcome,leave alone these tennis matches.

Anyway hopefully lauren would learn from this and continue taking leaps ahead. Cheers to those who tailed and cashed the Over 6.5 games for her.
