    Sick of it , being Davydynko'd around and abused...

            How about the player who retire is require to sit out the next tournament. They also can't play doubles in the same tournament they retire from, seen this scenario too many times when the player quits a single match and then plays a doubles match. Once the tour starts cutting into the player paychecks, they will have 2nd thoughts about retirement unless they have a legit injury.

              I won't beef about retirements. Some of them are major bogus fukks and if you bet on anything surrounding their matches - that's your own fault/peril of the game, but given the tremendous amount of tennis that most of these guys have to play every year to earn a living + horrid scheduling, if I could collect $5K or $10K or whatever for showing up for a round at a Masters Event and then quitting ... ya damn right. You would too.

                No idea, though I fail to see how that pertains to "enforcing the retirement rule".

                Which is the alleged rule, supposedly to be enforced again?
