Peer has won multiple WTA titles already. It is Svit who is in her first final, I believe. I do not like the juice on Svit, she should win but Peer is obviously much more experienced and is playing well. So probably no bet for me.

Why does it matter who Peer had to play en route to the finals ? I never got that argument. Anyway Svit should win the first but then she might tighten up. That's why I am taking the first set. Plus it is less juice. If Peer wins the first she should win the match given her experience.

Not really. What matters is the current form and how they matchup with each other. Otherwise, Brands would have won Gstaad.

I personally think Peer is going to get shit on. Her game has so many holes while Svitolina is clearly on the rise and her power has been on point all tournament. Been watching her matches this week and shes playing some great tennis. Either way, I could be wrong, but Svitolina is a big play for me.

Not sure if you've followed both of these women this tournament (or before), but Peer has been far from impressive, and she doesn't exactly have a powerhouse resume. On the other hand, Svitolina is a rising star with all the talent in the world. Just really raw. Regardless, you make a valid point backing a young player vs an experienced Peer. It's a chance I'm willing to take. Hoping for the best, but ready to accept the worst. Basically, it's not a bet I would regret playing if it lost.
