Youzhny might struggle today on clay .....taking ANDUJAR +150

Even though Youzhny beat Andujar earlier this year at the French Open, his form is vulnerable on this surface. Mathieu is one of the weakest players on the tour and horrible on clay yet he was able to take a set off Youzhny yesterday. Even though Andujar hasnt been his normal solid form on clay, he was moving very well yesterday. He has the ability to take out some of the heavyweights like he did in Madrid and Nice earlier this year taking out Cilic, Isner, Nishikori and Simon all in the same month....so watch out Youzhny backers.


I don't like the russian's form at the moment, taking Andujar at a good price +150.

You don't need a big serve to win on this surface. I'll take the consistent groundstrokes over the big server any day on clay. Youzhny's backhand is suspect and can make a lot of errors at any given moment.

You should not be even comparing the mental strength of Youzhny to that of Andujar. Youzhny clearly overachieved over the course of his career. He has had a few meltdowns here and there, usually against good players though, but he also produced some great upsets. Andujar just sucks.
