Watching Gilles Simon vs Goooochy. Took him a while to get used to those big bomb serves (gucci took first set in a tiebreak), but he's now playing some gorgeous stuff.

If he doesn't get exhausted in a grindfest with Monfils, he can beat Nadal in the quarters.

Watching Ancic-Karlovic. Can already see it's going to be the worst game in the history of tennis, perhaps only surpassed by Karlovic-Roddick, or when Karlovic and Isner played doubles.

I'm not hatin' - I'm just hopin' you know what round to stop backing them big faves in before it bites your pocket. That Zheng/Czink match may have been the worst serving Grand Slam match in a long while. Something like 23-24 break chances, 14 converted. Either chick could have won that one. Definitely fade Zheng as soon as she faces a good player because she will lose.

To win the tournament, Muscles from Mallorca needs to beat an absolutely on-fire Haas, then Gonzo, then Simon/Monfils, then Murray/Tsonga, then Djoko/Fed. Given his best ever result at a HC slam was narrowly edging the 15th seed in 5 sets, that seems a touch unlikely.....

Watch Tsonga carefully against Sela in Round 3. Not that he shouldn't have plenty to beat him, but if he's struggling any - the physical problems may be catching back up with him, making him a good fade in Round 4.

Cilic to beat Ferrer, 3-1, +330 at pinnacle.

The little Spanish roadrunner is playing himself back towards something approaching form, after an appalling second half of 2008, but still Cilic should have too much for him. However, one clear edge Ferrer has: he’s an absolute monster in 5 setters, nearly unbeatable due to his stupendous fitness levels. If Cilic wins, it’s much more likely to be 3-1 or 3-0, and given Cilic’s main weapon (serve) is neutered a little by Ferrer’s excellent returning, it seems pretty unlikely to be straight sets (and Cilic is still a little raw, prone to bursts of concentration loss, while Ferrer is a metronome and likely to frustrate him at times).
