If you have real money, I will bet you all your real money that Andy Murray wins a set.

i dont see the value in the janowicz money line. if you woke me up tomorrow and said "someone won 3-0, beatdown" or "someone won 3-2, close one" i would assume it was murray. by taking the janowicz money line, youre buying a bundle of his 3-0, 3-1, and 3-2 set props. seems like if he wins, its in 4 sets. 3-1 pays about +1000 at this point.

obligatory: the guy who needed 5 sets to beat melzer will annihilate murray!

if you think he can skunk murray 3-0, youre crazy. if you think murray will gag away the match at home in a deciding 5th set, id say your not quite crazy, but getting there. if janowicz wins, he wins sets 1 and 2 and closes strong in the 4th.

verdasco gave murray all kind of problems and verdasco was doing nothing on murrays serve, jan will get more balls back in play, i don't know how many times verdasco has 0-30 on murray and couldn't even get to a bp, if jan is serving well he could win this 3-0 why not

Comparing Verdasco and Janowicz is apples vs. oranges. He was the first lefty Murray had faced in 2013 and obviously it took him a long time to eat into his serve. Murray has faced plenty of power righties. Maybe he doesn't figure Janowicz out, maybe he does - but there's no conclusion you can really make off the Verdasco match as to how this one will play out.

The semifinal will have an entirely different feel to it style wise, so I wouldn't really take too much from what Verdasco did. It's not like Berdych to Del Potro for Djokovic where he's going to face two pretty similar style players.

It will be interested to see how Jano reacts to not having the crowd behind him. Typically he is a fan favorite and feeds off the energy from the crowd. I think he has a shot if he catches Murray on an off day.

its tempting to look at whatever the previous match was as evidence of "momentum" or "form." therefore, going 5 sets with verdasco gives most the opinion that he is underperforming. i see it the opposite way. murray will be "scared straight" from a match like that and will remember the importance of starting fast, even though he has 5 sets to get the job done.

This sums it up. Janowicz is a future star no doubt about it, but currently he's playing Roddick Tennis which Murray can pick apart. With that said, there will probably be a few tie breaks with Jano possibly nipping out a set. Over 39 -110 seems like decent play under that scenario.

It seems people vastly underestimate Verdasco's – and Murray's – performance Wednesday.

Verdasco odds were amazing, like I said. Jerzy's are possibly a bit short to be honest. Po'Mo's odds on the other hand are way too long – the only problem is we have no idea how the injury will affect his play today. If I knew it weren't an issue I would be all over Po'Mo @ 6.9. As it stands I'm going small on Po'Mo @ 6.5. with a void bookie or possibly 1:st winner @ 4.3.
