i seriously can't imagine murray more than like a -175 favorite, he had so much trouble with verdasco i mean cmon jersey's serve is un breakable , and jersey is going to get more balls back in play, verdasco couldn't put the balls back in play, i'm thinking no more than -175 murray

When they met in Paris last year, I think Murray was around -1400. This is Jerzy's first Slam, say what you want about his serve - players rarely don't have a major case of nerves on their first trip to a Slam semi. Murray will be a massive favorite due to his experience at this stage and it's not really a fair comparison to say Murray will struggle because Verdasco gave him a great push today. It was the first lefty Murray had faced all year and Verdasco was playing very, very well this week. Apples vs. oranges. Janowicz brings an entirely different approach that Verdasco. Not saying it will not be competitive or even than Janowicz might have a shot at an upset, just no need to make one conclusion based on one match against an entirely different style of player.

did anyone watch jerzy in the post interviews? dude looked he needed medical attention he was close to hyperventilating and could hardly speak. he will be beyond nervous against murray.
I could see murray losing a set, but I honestly think he beats jerzy in straights.

Djokovic is -660 against Del Potro, so I think you're correct and it would not be surprising to see it higher than that.

jerzy's serve is far from unbreakable. jurgen melzer just took him to 5 sets. jurgen melzer. melzer is awful. kubot is just a million times worse & almagro couldn't return something to a lost & found.

not unbreakable but he does lead in aces by a pretty good margin (second is Dodig). Helps that he's played five matches.

He's not in the top 20 in first serve% though
