I didn't bet on the Lisicki match but I won on the other 3. Feels quite weird that so many of us were in consensus here on dogs and Bartoli of all people.

Yeah I've always liked her. Back when I had my thread myself and nocode1 were always scooping her up at + odds because his friend is very close to her. It was like having a telescope into her life. Her one struggle lately has been cash for trainers and travel when her ranking dove for a bit there but thankfully now that wont be an issue any more. She's solid and no drama. Having Clijsters as your mentor and her mum as your mum's best mate surely doesn't hurt either.

I lost $833 on Kanepi,
and won $2800 on Flipkens.

then I got an ER bill for $3675 for reducing the dislocated shoulder I got from patting myself on the back cause I'm that good

so I've actually lost a little

Dont worry...Ive posted many, many losers after they have completed. You can look back in the archives...prolly 4 out of 5 posted after completions are on losses.

Ferrer making alot of early mistakes, but what has me more excited is how Del Potro is moving around the court.......not going to be sustainable in a 4 or set match against Ferrer.

WOW...Del Potro is really hobbling around during some points, and very noticeably after points.
I'll actually be fine if Del Potro wins the 1st set, as my bet is only good if it goes 2 full sets, and I cant see Juan retiring while ahead.

Del Potro takes the 1st set....and Im perfectly fine with that!
Ferrer played about as a bad a set as I've ever seen him play, with unforced errors everywhere. He is a fighter and will undoubtedly clean in up. Del Potro will start losing velo on his serve as his knee continues to act up. I'll say 2-6, 6-4, 6-2, 6-1 (if Del Potro continues)

Ferrer should hopefully cruise in the 2nd set, and maybe see a retirement after 2, or early in the 3rd.
I just don't see how Del Potro is going to grind out 3 or 4 more sets, because we all know Ferrer isn't going away, and will get stronger as the match progresses.

If Del Potro wins 3 sets today....I would be very surprised. I would be willing to bet this at -250 at this point in time.
Del Potro is simply trying to end points as soon as possible, and its worked to this point, but as he gasses out a bit, and Ferrer continues to grind, Del Potro is in trouble. Ferrer will start nipping away at his serve real soon.

dude, ferrer hasnt looked good this tourney, delpo has been sensational. I watched ferrer vs dolgo, if dolgo wasnt a headcase he wins that in 5 sets. Books suckered ferrer backers imo

Naw.....if they play again tomorrow, I'd still back Ferrer, against Del Potro. Delpo played the best match of his career today.
Oh well, 4-1 in the last 5 plays. I'll post up who I took next after the match.
