Although today was exceptionally weird with the retirements/upsets - days like today and yesterday usually F with the heads of bettors like no others. Yesterday, favorites were skating through. So today favorites got played heavy, I am almost certain. Today, the dogs ruled. Obviously no direct correlation whether faves or dogs win tomorrow - but I would caution people to stick to who you think is going to win and not start trying to guess if a huge upset is going to happen again.

You might win either way, but I always feel better sticking to breaking down the match up and picking who I like based on that whether it wins or loses. Good luck in any case. Be careful!

I see a few dogs realistically that I might take, but as usual for me - they are more in the modest range of price and not in the dartboard shot range. If I had to go full blown retard with a bigger dog tomorrow, I'd go Zemlja. I tend to fall for him at Slams because I've been a fan of some of his early work, but he seems to always fall short ... but against Dimitrov, I think he actually rates a chance.

There are, but what recent threads were actually saying is that generally, underdog's odds will now be overestimated until most or all favorites win again. It's psychological...

That said, the chances of tomorrow being a similar day in terms of results is unaffected by today. Unless of course the players themselves are psychologically affected by today's events...

Jarkko was ill recently though, so I don't put much stock in that thrashing. Llodra is so unpredictable. He could come out and retire tomorrow and it would not surprise me.
