love this match so much can't believe the odds , Garbine Muguruze +235 are u kidding me, makarova is one of my favorite players i follow her closely and i can tell u she shouldn't be this big a favorite, i would say -150 would be more reasonable, the thing with makarova is she doesn't do anything great she doesn't have big serve she doesn't have big forehand she doesn't have big back hand she doesn't move that well, she has a weak 2nd serve, i just think she's an average at best player, really like the fact they played earlier this year and garbine beat her like the fact garbine is in good form making the semi finals in last weeks tourny, i think her power will be a factor and she will take advantage of makarovas weak serve, 6-4 6-3 garbine in straight sets tom

I like it and was thinking along the same lines before your post as a value play, but I have not seen Muguruza play lately. Is she consistent enough ? Makarova is a fairly stable and crafty player (great doubles player too).

Unless you've realized it, the above sentence of yours implies you normally don't make value plays (plays you think are good), which in turn obviously means you used value rather than high odds in your original post.

yes, garbigine can play some good rallies with mova, as much as 'ova wants to cut these short with the man power that she puts in her shots. believe me she has that power. makarova is an uncomfortable opponent. even for the elite.
once she's few feets inside the court expect the freaking double penetrating backhand she's made most f her winners like that.
