Jano has been undervalued all year. Books haven't figured it out, I do not understand. I remember when he was tearing up challengers last year and won how ever many matches in a row you could get him -200ish against scrubs.

I likee doo doo and I hope you win Jano's quarter bet. He is becoming one of my favorite players.

Not sure I agree with the undervalued notion on Jerzy all year. Up until Rome, his year had been pretty blase. I think some are underestimating Stepanek's skills on grass. He's a good serve and volley guy. Jerzy has never played anyone like that on grass. Doesn't mean Jerzy won't win, but I said it elsewhere - I don't think it's going to be straight forward like some think.

Also keep in mind that Jerzy had a tweaked elbow coming into the event. Obviously no issue against the greenhorn Edmunds in the opener, but it's something to bare in mind if you're betting on him for as long as he goes. Unfortunately it sounds like one of those things where you're not really going to know match-to-match if it's bothering him or not.

If you bet jano for 1 unit on every match in the past year, you would be way up. No question about it. He has been plus money many times this year and won. Last year even more so. I brought this guy up to the board way back when he started tearing up challengers. He consistently has been taking care of business. How you can say he hasn't been undervalued I do not know. But I never see you agree with any position with anyone, so I won't let it hurt my feelings.

That said. I'm not sure if I will play this. I haven't seen Stepanek play enough on Grass to take a position. I'd rather play this guy in smaller tournies against big names where he has the bigger motivation than the other guy to prove himself. Grand slams everyones motivation is the same and it's probably why I don't care to bet on grand slams all that much. Money is to be made on the smaller tournies and judging players motivation/fatigue/jet lag/tourny payout/etc. Everybody is up for these slams and usually come in rested enough. There is less of an edge and lines are sharper.

Stepanek is one mean grass court player and a great doubles player. I do not like the odds. Janowicz is more of a clay court hitter. I think Stepanek is actually the value play here.

This year he's been a dog [prices well above +110 because I didn't do all the math] I think 11-12 times for ATP tour events and has three wins. He's been favored or around a pick em/maybe a slight dog in I think in 13-15. I think he's been pretty appropriately priced this year and he hasn't hit that much as a dog outside of the Rome event. I am sure you'd still be up some if you bet him every event, but I don't think he's as big a cash cow this year as he was last year - definitely sure if you bet him a lot last year you made some nice money like you said.
