    Rain delay RG
According to the weather channel it's going to rain in paris throughout the week. As far as I know they still haven't installed retractable roofs.. So what's going to happen with the games? Surely they can't postpone most of the games til next week if it really does rain out for the rest of the week? Do they play the matches even though it's light rain? One thing I hate about betting is getting my money tied up.

Matches will be postponed. Can't be playing in the rain it's too dangerous.
On the plus side, clay is the best surface for taking a bit of drizzle. They will likely play on if its very light.
Not so much at Roland Garros I don't think but at lesser tournaments they often water the court between sets. So there's the potential for a quick turnaround, whereas on a hard court they would be straight off and it would take hours for the court to dry.

One covered court wouldn't make a huge difference. I think the Australian Open is the only tournament that has TWO courts with roofs. One court with a roof means that the "Center Court" matches would get played - the dozens of others on the smaller courts would still be delayed as they would at any other tournament.

One court with a roof means that the "Center Court" matches would get played - the dozens of others on the smaller courts would still be delayed as they would at any other tournament.
well, having at least 1 covered court make the difference starting with the QF or SF, because they can move matches from the other courts to the covered one

Obviously a big deal to have ONE at least for those later rounds, but these early ones would be getting pushed back mostly any how. Trust me, I can't believe these assholes have held out this long for getting LIGHTS - never mind covered courts ... LIGHTS.

Also, wish the community would stop hampering Roland Garros from renovating and upgrading.

Chance of rain is just 20% all day. They shouldn't have any problems.
