Normally I'd never say this but I'm nearly certain Venus tanked her match vs Robson. Robson is absolute trash on clay (how she beat A-Rad in Madrid is beyond me) and even a half-decent Venus Williams would've beaten her if she wanted. I think Venus just has no interest in playing Serena right away in this tourny after winning 1 match - and she knew very well she had no hope to go any further in this. So why not avoid playing your sister for no reason, and eventhough they've battled all their careers, its never easy for either of them to be the one to knock out the other.

So barring that in mind, I think Robson is pure dead money. She should get destroyed.

I did watch Radwanska v Robson, I decided to go with Robson small stake on that one, she was brilliant.

Knowing Serena not giving 100% in the first few rounds, Robson has a chance to win a few games, even a set and that's it. Wish someone beats that moron good and proper though.
Serena Williams is not passionate about the game she has dominated for so long, but not about to leave it, the 13-time Grand Slam winner said Monday, according to TennisNow.com.

So it wasn't just A-Rod sucking some ass from a straw then, was it?

Agassi never disclosed his hatred of tennis so openly while he was an active player. Serena did. What Agassi hated was the pressure and non-stop touring. He said that he could not find a place for anything in his life beside tennis, hence failure of his first marriage. That's understandable, it's an extremely demanding job being a pro tennis player and a good one too. That's a valid argument.

On the other hand,Williams hates sports altogether and questions how she became an athlete after all. Now that requires some serious wires popping loose in the brain. If she hates so much, she should quit already. The only reason she keeps winning is the remainder of the players are "too feminine to compete" with her. ITF should have a more strict testing policy against performance enhancing drugs.
