Performance of Players from Indian wells to Miami...
Anybody have stats on how well players do say that make QF say in the heat and no humidity of Indian Wells to the sweltering humidity of Miami? Always have heard that players very rarely do well in this. Could be some good prices to be found and futures as well.Figure players that lost early in IW have had time to adjust more to South Florida.

    Thoughts?

How hot is Miami at this time (generally speaking)? Reasonably?

    It's more of a swamp than a desert, geographically speaking, isn't it? : P

      There you are kid!

Just scroll through the results for the past few years. Not quite statistics, but data.

Ah you're lucky mate, going to see some people play in the qualifiers is always good! There is always value in the first round of a tournament when high ranking opponent's take on qualifiers.

I will be surprised of Djokovic doesn't win it again especially after his yack job against Delpo @ Indian Wells. His draw is pretty much cake to the semis if he's engaged - which I fully expect. Outside of Djokovic, the other three quarters look pretty wide open depending on motivation this week. Murray has some tricky players in his section. The Berdych quarter could probably legitimately be won by 4 or 5 guys. Delpo got a fortunate early draw otherwise I might have looked to go against him, but I don't see anyone early who is going to bite him unless he absolutely wants a vacation. Really a weak quarter overall. Ferrer normally isn't exactly great at Indian Wells or Miami, but his part of the draw doesn't offer much either.
