Yeah I think they just found that info out. Or maybe she told them for all I know. That's why I put the word apparently because I rarely trust what players say the day of a match and then what's repeated ad nausea. The quote was her telling the doctor her throat was sore and then him offering her a lozenge. I heard her say that on the bet365 feed and I burst out laughing. To be fair even the commentators did too because they were like what's he going to do for a sore throat? Are you going to suck a lolly while running around on court?

Greg - She's horrible. I've been on a witchhunt for her since she lost to Cetkovska. Normally I don't pay her much attention but when I saw the press hype her up yet again after that win when I watched every point of that match I was pissed. Not sure if you saw at TI but someone explained they were cheering for her because Bartoli had wanted to stop the match when it was just drizzling and when the ump said no and told her to keep playing she refused. Can't say I blame her considering what's happened this tourney with injuries and slips. She's still batshit insane though.

I really like the way Radwanksa plays. She rarely seems to get rattled.

She's a very strong player. A couple of years ago I couldn't stand her. In fact I'd say 500 or so of my post count involves slamming her because I didn't like her style. But there's something to be said for consistency and being smart. Li had so many shots today that she could've hammered home for winners but didn't. Aggie just sits there and keeps returning and pushing until her opponents snap. She's the one player on the WTA I imagine causes the most grief for people other than Serena obv. If you play Aggie and you're not 100% she'll expose and pounce on every one of your weaknesses without having a mental breakdown.
