The streams will be up Thursday ... when Tennis Channel and ESPN begin their coverage of the event.

I'm surprised there isn't a stream of a backhaul feed of the main court with no commentary like they had in Atlanta. What disappoints me more is that Tennis Channel doesn't begin its coverage earlier in the week.

Far more consistent (and thus far in both's careers no doubt better) player, was plagued by three separate injury problems last year. Barthel in quite some poor form lately. At odds close to evens (@ 1.85) this almost seemed like the market had some heavy intel in Barthel's favor.

Yet it should be said Barthel has some major talent.

Yes one of my regrettable bets for sure. Haase has only been beaten by top-notch players in the last bunch of major clay events. Not sure what I was thinking taking Brands and no it wasn't because he beat Federer. And for the Barthel match I think a good illustration of how knowledge is necessary although of course not sufficient to be a good gambler.

I honestly had no idea you were on Brands but indeed at those odds I did not like that bet one bit. I thought Brands had a fair chance of winning but there's no way the odds should be that close. Maybe there were concerns for Haase's fitness after his recent injury issues and extensive court time.

Also, as much as I agree, I was in no way sure Petting would win. I was simply firmly convinced the odds were too high. Barthel can be hella good and this is the WTA after all...
