Not that they didn't deserve to win, but it's come out that his back has become a problem again over the last few weeks. Fed said he wasn't even sure he was going to play on Thursday until he came out to warm up. Possible that if it wasn't a home tourney, he might have decided not to play.

Some may see it as an excuse, but his back issues are pretty well documented and of course with age, everything magnifies even more. Of course in a 250, there's really no point betting big chalk in their 1st match up either, so if you bet Federer today - really only yourself to blame.

Thanks. Nothing on the board. My favorite play was granollers. Felt he would win in straight sets. So guess i was way wrong. I don't want to make others lose money with my other picks today so keeping my mouth shut.
