Their matches always seem to be quite close on the whole. I think Turs serve can keep 1 of the sets close.

Yeah their start times for the qualis are atriciously off and unfortunately like with Challengers, they won't put them back up after their posted time passes - even if its like an hour off. I wanted to play Almagro over Wawrinka also, but that match seems fairly even, so I tried some better edges although I think that may be the best match of the day potentially.

Apparently I wasn't kidding. Bemelmans retires after losing 6-0 in the 1st set. Reitrement magnet. That is three for three with retirements, unfortunately losing two of them. Perhaps I should have been skerd for the weekend again. Amazing how horrid the weekend goes for me with these. Okay, lesson learned then. Fukk more than one play on Saturday or Sunday. But damn you gotta be kidding me with these retirements.

Not really strong on this, but my take .... Flo hasn't played anyone who is going to challenge him like Nishikori will from an athletic/return standpoint. And in spite of what everyone always perceives about Flo being a "big" server - his record on indoor courts is just .500. Most of those do show close though, so the sets might be tight. If I had a gun to my head, full of Vodka, I'd ask that you put it in my mouth [that's what she said] and then I'd say maybe Flo +4 with the juice laid @ -145 or Over 22. Match winner though I think will be Nishikori.

The problem with Flo is that 99% of his backhand stroke is sliced which doesn't fare well against a strong shot maker like Nishikori. That's like teeing it up for Nishi to pound every time it lands into his forehand side. That slice backhand works well on clay but on indoor hardcourts, it's gonna get pounded all day long. Unless Flo has an outrageous day serving, it's gonna be a title for Nishikori today.

Lopez looks absolutely awful, but Nishikori has bouts where he plays like doo-doo as well. The first Lopez service game in the second will p much tell the match's story.

In essence however, it comes down to Lopez basically playing like shit.

All the key points in bold LoL. This is why I didn't play anything. Outside of the winner, I had no clue on the rest. Again, I see the future for Saturdays and Sundays with one play per day and I think that is going to yield some good avoidance of giving back some profit from during the week. Looking forward to the new week and new tourneys. ATP Acapulco has some heavy hitters playing. Delray Beach is always a fantastic look in the first round for qualifiers over guys who are out of form or on short rest, etc.
