They would adapt quickly to playing 5 sets; many of them already play singles and double 3 setters on the same day. I dare say there would be a short term advantage to the younger players, but long-term it would make little difference.

#6Fukk that. It's tough enough watching some of this bullshit women's tennis for three sets. Best of five - hell no. I think the quality would be even more terrible. I disagree with the whole "they would adapt" theory. Most of them already struggle when the matches go three hours. They would all have to amp up their fitness regimens, but I think for the most part - it would just be all of them saying ... no way.Comment -
