16yo Barty has the heart of a lion and a head like a cucumber! (as in cool as)

Taking it right up to Cibulkova who I had going deep.

I thought about putting Cibulkova in a play. Damn I'm glad I didn't. Only thing I know about Barty is that she's young, Australian, and beat Petkovic a couple weeks ago due to retirement. Didn't she win Wimbledon Juniors tourney last year or something?

Yeah I think so. I only know of her from watching the Hopman Cup myself. She was cool headed above her years and fought all the way in every match there. Pressed Ivanovic and said after the doubles she found Djoko's serve easier to handle than Ana's!

Worth trying to get to see her play. And hearing her interviewed. You'd never believe she is 16, and she's definitely got the makings of a real game.

At least now we will get to see if my "heart of a lion" assessment holds any water.

Wow. Cibulkova won the 2nd set 6-0 and just broke to go up 2-0 in the 3rd and serving. 8 straight for her.
