It's one of the biggest perks of having DirecTV. They do this for every grand slam in tennis and golf. It's awesome.

Yeah this is only the 2nd Slam I have had DirecTV for, they did it for the US Open but I didn't think back that far. Was excited to see this for the AO.

Ill never understand why ESPN would air early round matches when there is no doubt to who's going to win. Sure the casual fan knows Djokovic, Federer, and Serena, but are they going to care enough to keep it on when it's already 6-1, 4-0 in the 2nd set? Probably not. If they showed some of the more entertaining first round matches, I feel like more casual fans would get hooked.

ESPN is stupid, always has been when it comes to covering Slams. They always put on the big names and Americans when appropriate over let's say something like Dolgopolov-Monfils which might be one of the more entertaining matches this year ...

Every year Espn shows the same s h I t matches, why was Sharapova on when we could have been watching Johnson battle Almagro? Glad to have Directv at home!

They actually did show a lot of Johnson v Almagro starting around the 3rd set I think? ESPN does do stupid shit tho. They will cut away from a good match or something important to do interviews and shit.

direc tv is the greatest. I live in a historic home and I have to abide by these regulations, no satellites. My dads place for direct tv and tennis or watching it at his beach place is a must. I actually have a friend rent me his basement during tennis season just to watch direc tv and record music, but espn3 has been very impressive so far. I rarely watch regular espn at all for tennis unless its a big match.

Damn this is great. I go from sweating balls on my Duckworth bet and watching it live to Haas-Nieminen in a tie break. I'm on about four hours sleep from yesterday, think I have watched close to eight hours of tennis. Tennis > Sleep this week. Have to be up at 4:30 for work, fukk work.

I love this time of year. I should be asleep but even matches I dont have money on are fun to watch. That duckworth match was crazy to watch. I won't be putting put a dime on either player though in the future, what a mess.

Smells like a perfect spot to fade Duckworth. Awful, sloppy, emotional, long, 5 set, raucous win. Line shouldn't be too big against Kavcic.

To top it all off, the best match of the day is about to start in Dolgo vs Monfils. You know all true fans gotta catch at least an hr of this match.

Cross and MDF, so true. Have to be awake for work in less than 5 hours and I plan on watching a large portion of Monfils and Dolgopolov. AO and March Madness are unrivaled to me in terms of excitement in a small period of time.
