I like Nieminen at -195 right now. I know he's been losing but he handles Phau here. Unless he truly is in horrible form.

Looking at what else is on the card for today.

I like +280 odds on Matosevic against Tomic today...... what else am i looking at, haven't made any plays

I like feliciano Lopez at -110 to beat chardy and I'm also liking Stepanek at -155 to beat Guillermo Garcia Lopez.. wonder if heat will affect any of them?

Stepanek withdrew last week but idk why, so keep that in mind.
Nemo is defending finalist or whatever, but Phau is a very tricky opponent, the guy goes for his groundies often early and is playing pretty strong recently also dating back to last year. I would actually avoid this play imo, Jarkkos odds are def too high here

Nieminen blogged about prep for today, drinking lots of fluids, etc. Tough to like that match. Nieminen retired with a migraine in Brisbane and who knows if extreme heat will bring about another. I won't question his effort since he's defending some points, but at the end of the day it's not all that many. He's also got a history of retiring at Australian tourneys. 2011 Sydney. 2009 Australian Open. Not sure those were heat related, but worth noting.

Phau can play. He is a no-nonsense kind of guy. Don't expect him to fold quickly/easily.
