no it's a bad idea actually. i don't like to do it, but i'm going for it this one time w/ 2 top level players. sometimes when a lot of matches look difficult for me to predict i will take a chance on the higher priced favorites who i think will win. in this case they are just too expensive, so i am doing first set.

thanks sam, honestly i think i have been a little lucky so far, i have a lot of holes in my tennis knowledge, and can't bet on certain matches at all (dimitrov, davydenko, baghdatis, lots of players confuse me). i like to fade ball pushers against aggressive players sometimes . i have some dog type players i like to play that don't always work out, like suarez-navarro, tamira paszek, i like her and she is just ok. i have players i like to fade, like robin hasse, simon (in right situation), halep, govortsova. sure i throw darts at some dogs, i try mattek-sands a lot (doesn't come through much). i will take a tough players like benneteau, nieminen as dogs. i see alund as a tough player and in an environment he obviously feels comfortable in, and so i will try him against nadal (probably won't work out, but nadal's knee is bothering him).

the strategy is to look for some solid faves to parlay to cover the cost of the dart throwing dog bets i like to do.

good luck man, i would have stayed away from mattek-sands/vesnina bc i couldn't pick the winner (many many bets i just think "i don't know")

watch out benneteau-simon match.....simon is a steady great fighter....on this match i wd bet maybe the over 22.5..i see a 3 sets match on this one

this Eranni girl can run run run run....she did the same in Paris playing an almost 3h match and playing double just after...she has been playing almost 40 games since the beginning of year and not one sign of fatigue!!!....its not her who were linked with the doctor Fuentes who was involved in doping in cycling in spain???

yea, bundle of energy out there. she ran down so many balls. not a lot of power, but not many errors, lots of control. goerges hits the ball SO HIGH in the air sometimes, also makes lots of errors. looks like a bad day for me

should have pulled trigger

you can play 4 or 5 and only hit one and come out ahead, but they don't always look too good when you bet them.

sometimes tevari will post a good dog

By far the most frequent error I see people make is mistaking "a good bet" with "a winning bet". A "good bet" is a value bet, where the chance of the bet winning is greater than the odds would imply, entirely regardless of whether the specific bet happens to win or not.

As obvious as this may sound, it's apparently never that obvious. If people are so afraid of taking chances, I don't see why they would bet on tennis in the first place.
