Even if Petrova's back wasn't as question mark, this seems like a standard dog try. The Russian withdrew last week in Seoul with back issues after winning her opener. It's the second time in three tourneys she has pulled out. In Cincy, she quit due to heat issues. Peng is steady, not spectacular - but more than capable of taking out Petrova, especially id she has movement issues.

Schiavone has been pretty rancid this year, especially on hard courts. Price of course is probably a bit juiced to Shvedova, but Schiavone hasn't shown much in the way of thinking she is going to turn it on for this surface. Slower stuff, she'd rate a shot. On the quicker stuff, if Shvedova is locked in - she probably wins.
