Yes, that's true, but you can click on the "Heritage" banner on top of this page to sign up. It would be considered an invitation.

REALLY DUMB question if have not clicked the banner, spoke to live help and have been told you need an invite. Dude take a little action before posting a question on SBR.

I contacted Heritage about new acct & they said I need an invite. Were curious about where I heard of them. Told 'em I had no invite & they said "take care".

The link to open a new account is on the Heritage home page...I'm not sure why so many of you are having problem finding it.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where you'll see "Open an account" link.
No referral, no banner clicking needed.

Huh, I wonder why the service rep was so cryptic about it. He emailed me twice just to give me the kiss-off. I signed up with betislands instead. Maybe heritage some other time. Thanks Russian.
