This may not be the greatest injustice of all time, but it certainly is an injustice. If a bookie did this to me, I would get upset also. But before I left, I would look to see if I could take advantage of any of their favorite lines that should be 5 to 10 cents over market.

Dual lines doesn't piss me off as much as books that will adjust the line after you go to submit the bet ONLY when it's in their favor! Heritage used to do this to me, but not anymore. Small shops it's almost a given that's how you will be treated. They build that shit right into the software.

Adjusting the attached Moneyline on a Spread will balance the action. Depending on your wager, off-standard lines can work in your advantage. An alternative to adjusting the juice is changing the Spread of the game. Changing the Spread is a last resort, but it’ll happen every now and then if there’s too much action on one side.
