    Best sportsbook for teasers?
I've been betting football for about eight years now. The previous two years only bet teasers and have made nice profit. Trying to plan ahead for this season.

More books are now protecting themselves against teasers by shading lines towards the favorite, 5Dimes is known to do this. I like how 5Dimes allows me to leave a leg open on a teaser...but their lines are horrible.

Here's a list of what's important to me in a book:
(ranked from most important to least important)

    1. Does not protect against teasers. (for example, the bears are -10 for week 1 but 5dimes has them at -11)
    2. Offers 4 team 13 point teasers
    3. Allows for "open leg" teasers

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    My current outs:

    1. 5dimes I place 70% of my bets here)
    2. Local #1 Doesn't offer 13 point teasers)
    3. Local #2 This is who I used for teasers last year, but currently owes me money for over a month. Not going to use this guy going forward.
    4. Recently signed up with bookmaker, but I don't believe they offer 13 point teasers.

Bovada 13-point "ties lose" teasers at -120. Shades go both ways and really are not to protect against teasers. Can get more points on the teaser side on occasion, teams +2 everywhere else +3 @ Bovada. No open legs though.

The -120 is decent compared to what you'll find elsewhere. BetOnline (warning: not very reputable) has the same @ -130 and I believe DOES offer open legs. JustBet.cx offers same at -140 (I don't think they offer open legs but can't say for sure.). I can't remember where but I've seen these at -150 and -160 places (Topbet maybe?). It's even -140 at Pinnacle iirc (though there all ties push - even loss, loss, loss, tie = push).

            Great timely thread.
Dark Horse had some great posts last year about the rob-job 5Dimes was doing by blatant shading of the 'main' line, to specifically fuk with teasers.

Very glaring too, as 5Dimes uses the 'drop down window', so you can quickly see they have a -110(or very close to it) line, but not to be teased off of.
(search for his posts for more info).

I also recall SBR published a link to teaser comparisons, but I don't know how up to date it is.

            Please keep us posted.

            Good thread, again. Thanks.

Vulnerable books include Betpop (family), Betisland and Betmania. I have some reservations about playing at Betmania right now, but have no problems carrying a 5-fig balance at the first two... but both may limit you if you beat them too badly.

5dimes defends against wise-guy teasers. There are times when they overdefend, and offer value on other non-basic strategy teasers due to their alternate lines.

                Thanks and great points.
And by vulnerable you mean to teasers, nothing to do with their financial viability, right?

                Thanks

Some basics to keep in mind...

                    Pricing:

2T6P +100 or -105 (Preferably +100 but few out there)
                    3T6P +180
                    4T6P +300

Those are the payout odds you need to be trying to find.

                    Betmania offers 2T6P at +100
                    Heritage does as well
5Dimes offers them at +100 (I believe), but as mentioned above, line shading is a major hurdle.
                    BetPOP offers them at -105

Books in general are slowly lowering their teaser payouts each passing year. Bet Islands told me 10 days ago they were lowering their teaser payouts, but I still haven't seen it take effect.

YouWager offers 3T6P at +170 (not good enough), but they do offer 4T6P at +300, and they also allow for open leg teasers.
Bet Islands allows open leg teasers.
Heritage allows open leg, but you have to call in to do it (slight drawback).

                    BetDSI - 3T6P @ +180, 4T6P @ +300

Bookmaker - Bad teaser odds. Avoid.

In my opinion, YouWager/BetPOP, Betmania (lower rated) & Heritage (and 5 Dimes occasionally) are the best outs for teasers. Bet Islands was among the best until they told me the payouts were all being lowered.

I know Heritage is advertising teasers on their main page recently. Haven't really checked it out but they are claiming industries best teasers.

They haven't changed their odds yet, but I'm guessing they will sweeten the odds on College teasers, which books aren't afraid of, and tout those as Industries best.

thanks for your help fellas, I signed up with betpop and their lines on teasers are fantastic! they even allow open teasers. Now the next step is to actually win the wagers and hope betpop pays out
