I've been betting football for about eight years now. The previous two years only bet teasers and have made nice profit. Trying to plan ahead for this season.
More books are now protecting themselves against teasers by shading lines towards the favorite, 5Dimes is known to do this. I like how 5Dimes allows me to leave a leg open on a teaser...but their lines are horrible.
Here's a list of what's important to me in a book:
(ranked from most important to least important)
1. Does not protect against teasers. (for example, the bears are -10 for week 1 but 5dimes has them at -11)
2. Offers 4 team 13 point teasers
3. Allows for "open leg" teasers
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
My current outs:
1. 5dimes I place 70% of my bets here)
2. Local #1 Doesn't offer 13 point teasers)
3. Local #2 This is who I used for teasers last year, but currently owes me money for over a month. Not going to use this guy going forward.
4. Recently signed up with bookmaker, but I don't believe they offer 13 point teasers.
