    Do Asians have inside information?
Do the Asians bookmakers have inside information on fix games?

The reason why i ask this is because ive just been keeping a eye on a Russia Division 1 game between Anzhi Makhachkala V Rostov. I noticed it at half time and i thought the odds was way out of line compared to the form guide.

The score at half time was Anzhi Makhachkala 1-2 Rostov, but the Asians books had the handicap at half time as -1.5 with the odds of 1.22. So the Asians books was offering 1.22 on Anzhi winning the game even though they was 2-1 down at half time. The over and under handicap was 5 with over being 1.55.

True to the odds Anzhi scored 2 goals in 3 minutes, one being a penalty then with 20 minutes left to play they didnt offer a match handicap but put up over and under 5.5 for the goals even though 5 minutes earlier they was over 5 before the 2 goals was scored.

So my question is do they know about these fixed games?

Fk Rostov games often have "interesting betting patterns" :-)

The Asian books maybe react faster because they have larger limits and lower vig, so that's where anyone with knowledge of a fix would probably go.

I once saw a message on Mansion88 announcements page about a game where all in running bets was cancelled "because of strange betting patterns". Surely this game would come under this then.

Max bet was only £200 not the thousands sometimes in running.

            My thoughts exactly.

Shinnik Yaroslavl – Spartak Nalchik (Sat 25 Oct 16:30) is also a nice one.
Does anybody know an Asian bookie that still offers odds on this match?

Yeah, I noticed that one last night. Was around evens, then every bookie in the world got HAMMERED, down to -200, -300, -400, then pulled it completely.

Dunno, but now there's 143.000 euro matched @ betfair on that match (which is highly unusual) and the odds are going up.

                    Glad I didn't get involved.

                        Bout $180k.

I'm guessing most of this is late money, the odds at betfair are way lower than at the books last night.

180k is a solid amount on a russian soccer league game so funny business is highly probable

Add another 40.000 euro to it (xe.com does the math ) and counting.
After last weeks Rubin Kazan fix this might be caused by people manipulating the market.
Someone told me a week ago this match would be a fix because of that, but that might as well have been part of a plan to make loads of money out of this match by spreading that rumour.

Need more than a rumour I think - last night literally about 40 books yanked the market completely. That takes a huge amount of money.

Last weeks Rubin Kazan 'fix' went only down, down, down.
I would like to see a fix-alert topic on this subforum.

who cares. when i bet russian soccer, i never look at players or stats, i just follow the money. cuz 80% of time, money goes where the fix is.

i only do this for china soccer and eastern european games. especailly china soccer, past numbers means nothing cuz 90% of the games are fixed...that is why not many books offer odds.

lower the limit, the higher probability of a fix. this is part of gambling though. sometimes you get lucky and end up the correct side of a fix...but most of the time, you won't even though it is a fixed game even after the game is over.

                                                          Massive halftime bet perhaps?

Strange how they took it off. They still had it up at the 58th minute.
