Using fake name on p2p question.
I've been sending using my real name, but in order to not get banned I want to start using fake names for sends. When you guys do that what do you put down for the address? Just make something up? Use your own? Anything else I should be aware of before I do it?

Things occasionally go wrong with p2p and how are you planning on getting your money back from them if you don't use a legit name?

I think most people just use relatives, friends, etc. if their name gets burnt out..

Exactly. What happens if you have to get a refund for some reason? You are screwed. Or if they hit you with one of those random verification calls? You cant be verified so you lose the cash.

When it does go wrong, what often goes wrong is the receiver gets banned and the book asks you to change name, or location. Or they just mess up the first time, and needs to be changed.

i use to under my dads name..I did this because when i used to use a ficticonal name on bookmaker tells me i needed to change the country after i sent it. I called and ** told me they couldnt change the country and they would send me a refund. i told them to wait. this has been many years ago. This is when i found betjamica. I called them and they told me they would try to pick it up. they did and that was my first deposit there. It was lucky for me and I have never played at bookmaker again

I've had many wires go wrong in the past and i've always corrected it at the original location or over the phone, no ID was ever needed.

They're talking about p2p, not wires. A lot of differences.

I misspoke. We're talking about the same thing. And if anything a wire would require more dilligence than a p2p.

                    having a receipt trumps all
You simply say that you were sending the payment for a friend who was visiting out of town (and they are no longer here).
I've had it happen 2 times or so when the name given to me was banned. One time I got the funds back without even having to show an I.D. (I just showed the receipt, the lady knew me from being a regular customer at the grocery store) and the other time they had to mail me the check.

I would put down at least ONE correct piece of info.. either your cell # or perhaps your address. it seems the computer systems they use (especially W.U.) are really old and they are not as "up to date" as you'd think.. it's not going to come up saying YOU'VE USED THIS ADDRESS BEFORE or anything like that if you use a different name with the same address.

                    RECEIPT TRUMPS ALL

Every time I used a friend's name because I'd used mine too recently and lost the money i prayed nothing would go wrong otherwise I would've lost the money. My friend would never speak to me again if he found out I was using his name to deposit money into a shady gambling website

So what wound up happening with the Bookmaker thing?

I've only once had a p2p problem, and that was when the location send it using the currency of the receiving country even though I didn't ask for that to be done. I had a huge hassle because they claimed they couldn't change it unless I returned to the location, which was near where I work, but not anywhere near where I live, and this was after I had gotten home. Finally after arguing with them on the phone they agreed to change it. Wasted about an hour on the phone.

                              I've send p2p maybe 14 times.

It was christmas eve. bookamker told me to send to like hondorus or somewhere. I went that night and did. I called them gave them the info and they were like no it goes to panama. I called ** and they told me i had to go back to store to change the country. I went back to the store and it was closed and the where going to be closed on christmas. It was pretty late at night. Bookmaker basically told me its your fault **** off. I was stuck with a 400 dollar deposit that i couldnt do anything with. I was sweating because I was afraid they would make me get a refund and it wasnt my name. I wasnt a member of betjamaica but i called them and talked to scotty. I told him the story and he said let me see what i can do i will call you back in 20. He called me and said they can pick it up. i opened a account and never played anywhere else until they closed. this was probably 2004 or 05. Bookmaker never even try to help me even though i had sent many deposits and they clearly gave me that country, but oh well it was for the best.

If you don't want to use your real name on a P2P make sure you use a friends name and make sure that friend knows about it so he can get the refund with his id if something goes wrong .
